Stuart Howard, Chief Executive Officer
Stuart was appointed CEO of Dollar UK in November 2014. He has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and private equity. Prior to joining Dollar UK, Stuart was Chief Operating Officer for Listed Products at Harbourvest Partners where he was responsible for the operations of HVPE, a £700m market capital company listed on SFM and Euronext. Stuart’s previous roles have included Chief Financial Officer of 3i and senior roles at Credit Agricole and Deloitte. He has a degree in Government and Politics from Swansea University and is a trained Chartered Accountant.
Tony Deakin, Chief Financial Officer
Tony Deakin is the Chief Financial Officer for Dollar UK. He is responsible for Finance, Risk, Audit, Loss Prevention/AML and Property in all UK operations.
Before joining Dollar UK in May 2016, Tony was CFO for LaSer UK, a provider of consumer and partner finance programmes. He has also held senior leadership positions at Barclaycard where he worked from 2007 to 2013. Prior to financial services, Tony held a number of senior finance and treasury roles within the engineering, mobile phone and utilities sectors for businesses including General Electric, the Caudwell Group and Severn Trent.
Tony has extensive knowledge and expertise across the Finance and Risk spectrum and is an instrumental member of the Dollar UK team.
Steve Dukes, Chief Product Development Officer
Steve is a leader of product strategy and commercial growth within tech-enabled financial services businesses.
His experience spans the financial services lifecycle, from creating multiple new product lines and running nine-figure revenue business units to delivering major transformation initiatives.
Prior to joining Dollar UK Steve spent 4 years at the Wonga Group and has held roles in General Management, Marketing and Product functions across a range of businesses in consumer internet and mobile.
Andrew Smith, UK General Counsel
Andrew joined our consumer credit business in 2014 and has been UK General Counsel since 2015. He has been responsible for guiding the business through the legal and regulatory requirements related to the transition from OFT to FCA and advises the company on its entry into new markets and products. Andrew qualified as a solicitor in the UK in 1997 and has specialised in financial services ranging from consumer finance to institutional investments and funds since 2001. He is a graduate of Chester College of Law and completed an Executive MBA (Distinction) in 2007.
Jordan Barry, Senior Vice President Human Resources Europe
Jordan Barry is Senior Vice President for HR in Europe. He has responsibility for Human Resources and all employee matters across the business in the UK and Europe mainland.
Before joining the team in October 2016, Jordan was People Director at Tesco Bank UK. Jordan is an experienced HR executive with a background in Financial Services, having previously worked with Bank of Ireland, Aviva, Aspen and the FCA. He has built a broad expertise in HR over a long career involving senior roles in different sectors, such as with Royal Dutch Shell and BT Plc, with responsibility across Europe, Asia and global footprints.
Jaimie Hartridge, UK Business Manager
Jaimie is the UK Business Manager, reporting to Stuart Howard, the UK CEO. Her primary responsibilities involve providing all necessary support and guidance to Stuart, to enable both him, the Leadership Team and the business achieve all targets and objectives and also leading the UK Business Change function, which includes the Project Management, Business Analysis and User Acceptance Testing teams. As a member of the Dollar UK Leadership Team, she helps drive and deliver the UK business strategy and ensure value for shareholders.
Prior to her role at Dollar UK, Jaimie spent a number of years at GE, UBS and 3i, holding a number of positions including Investment Bank Financial Analyst, HR Co-Ordinator and Executive Assistant/Business Manager with Chief of Staff responsibilities.
Mike Blomfield, Chief Information Officer
Mike Blomfield joined Dollar UK in January 2015 as Chief Information Officer. In this role Mike looks after all aspects of IT within the business, including development, risk and security, as well as service and project management.
Mike joined Dollar UK from Hewlett-Packard (HP), where he led the Production Operations division within Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing (ITO) operations for HP’s Enterprise Services, across its Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) Region. He previously worked for Thomson Reuters as Vice President, Global Head of Workplace.
From 2008 to 2009, Mike was Global Head of Desktop Services at Barclays Bank. He has also worked for BP as their Global Transition Manager, having started his career as a Trainee Computer Operator.
Duncan Turner, Chief Operating Officer
Duncan Turner was appointed Chief Operating Officer for Dollar UK in May 2016 having joined in 2012 as HR Director for Global e-Commerce. He is responsible for the performance of Dollar UK’s retail network, UK Customer Contact Centre, Customer Assistance and Customer Relations.
Prior to joining Dollar UK, Duncan worked for Truck-Lite Europe, the European manufacturing division of Penske Corporation as a main board member in the role of European HR Director. He has also worked for Porsche Cars GB as Head of HR and at Sytner Group, a UK automotive retail group, as a Divisional Head of HR.
Duncan also has experience of the food retail sector, having joined Budgens Stores as a graduate trainee.
Caroline Walton, Chief Customer Insight Officer
As Chief Customer Insight Officer at Dollar UK, Caroline is responsible for providing relevant, actionable insight to all departments within the business, using customer data, user testing, focus groups and customer communities, using Insight to inform the development of our customer journeys, channels and product needs. In addition Caroline is responsible for both Marketing and Corporate Affairs functions, developing effective, compliant and responsible messaging both externally and internally.
As a Chartered Management Accountant, Chartered Company Secretary and more than 15 years in the industry Caroline has gained extensive knowledge through her various roles spanning finance, audit, compliance, loss & fraud prevention and corporate affairs.
Caroline has also held the position of President of the Consumer Finance Association since June 2011.
